  • The fault was user-related, user-caused and not a defect; or
  • The quote to repair is declined; or
  • You are choosing to no longer proceed with repair; or
  • Parts required to complete the repair are no longer available from the manufacturer and/or supplier.
Labour

The warranty period is a minimum of 90 days for service (labour / workmanship) in the event that a product re-faults for the same concerns/related to workmanship.

  • Carry-in service repairs are covered for the assessment fee and relatable labour.
  • In-home service repairs are covered for the call-out, assessment, labour.

Parts warranty applies if the part has failed either through a manufacturing or workmanship fault within the 90-day warranty period.

This warranty entitles the customer to the supply and replacement of any faulty parts acknowledged to be defective, including the labour required to change and/or repair such parts, only if the parts were fitted by Woolley Appliance Services PTY LTD.

Woolley Appliance Services PTY LTD shall not be responsible, and the above warranties against defects shall be null and void, in circumstances including the following:

  • Wear and Tear: Any parts that wear out as part of normal operation (eg. fuses, filters or other parts that have been subject to wear and tear);

  • Misuse and/or Damage: Any defect resulting from user negligence, misuse, abuse or using outside of specifications (eg. damaging a door seal);
  • Environmental Conditions: Any defects resulting from salt, sand, liquid ingress, power surge, or other Acts of nature; or,
  • Reporting: Failure to report warranty defects within a timely and reasonable manner and then submitting them for repair as soon as possible. If the repair is then considered uneconomical or impractical to repair, Woolley Appliance Services PTY LTD will advise the owner of this.

If a fault does develop during the warranty period, to make a claim, the item/s must have a fault that was part of the original repair contract. Example – If Woolley Appliance Services PTY LTD replaced a faulty pump on a washing machine and it developed a fault with the same pump within ninety (90) days, Woolley Appliance Services PTY LTD will replace and/or repair the pump. However, if a separate part such as a board fails which also results in the same type of fault but otherwise unrelated to the repair or part replaced, Woolley Appliance Services PTY LTD will not repair the board under warranty, if not requested.
